Missouri's $500 loss limit on riverboat gamblers, put in place to rein back casino gambling in the state, has been lifted. Mandatory tracking cards ensured that players could not buy more than $500-worth of slot machine credits or table game chips every two hours.

The change is expected to come into effect before the end of this year and ‘level the playing field'.
