Octavian brings global vision to Vegas
Octavian International is to feature live demonstrations of a number of breakthrough games and systems developments – including a compact wireless networking module and the exciting new PortalVision suite of products – on stand 2583 at G2E in Las Vegas.
Developed, appropriately, in the world’s gaming capital by Las Vegas Gaming Inc (LVGI), PortalVision solutions such as SlottoVision and AdVision dramatically increase productivity and profit from electronic gaming machines. They achieve this by delivering additional real-time wagering opportunities, promotions, games and other content on existing machines. Octavian was recently selected by LVGI as global distributors for PortalVision, and G2E is the first of a series of international gaming exhibitions at which PortalVision will be showcased.
SlottoVision enables lottery-style ticket games to run on existing electronic gaming machines. In the US SlottoVision enables operators to add LVGI’s popular Nevada Numbers lottery game to casino machines. Now that same extra flexibility and incremental revenue opportunity will be available to gaming and lottery operators across the globe.
AdVision, meanwhile, can be used to attract and generate more custom through the dynamic display of promotional messages on the screens, using existing machines’ video and audio capabilities.
LVGI President and Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Crystal said: “This agreement provides for immediate international distribution of the PortalVision product with a proven distribution partner in Octavian.”
Commenting on the exciting possibilities of the PortalVision technology, Octavian CEO Harmen Brenninkmeijer said: “I am delighted that Octavian has been selected as a global partner of LVGI. PortalVision is a technology breakthrough that will help gaming venues worldwide get a greater return from their machine assets. At the same time I believe it will help lottery operators extend their reach, grow revenue and, ultimately, increase prize values.”
PortalVision product can also be seen on the LVGI stand (3143).
Another Octavian innovation making its debut at G2E is the new Wireless Networking Module (WNM). Connected only to a power source and an ordinary PC, this compact, fully mobile, high-security unit can wirelessly link up to 100 electronic gaming machines. Designed for exceptionally high reliability and resilience, the Octavian WNM can provide all meter information and simplify machine networking, management and accounting.
Also on show will be the latest development of ExtraCash, Octavian’s attentiongrabbing auto-payout mini jackpot system, new DreamGames titles and casino games from GiGames. Among many new DreamGames titles are Crazy Garden, Black Light and Lucky Twins, while the GiGames titles include Samba Party and Sultan Towers, as well as their new Win&Go bingo series.
Completing Octavian’s new product line-up at G2E will be the launch of the ‘Your Money Prize’ game addon, which enables a progressive jackpot to be added seamlessly to the existing gameplay of Octavian video reel titles.
