More successes for GLI - in Asia and Latin America
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) claims that its new testing and interoperability center in Macau is the first in the region.
GLI Asia Managing Director Ian Hughes said: "The driving philosophy behind opening GLI Asia is customer service. Now we have a fullyfunctional lab, staffed by experts with unsurpassed knowledge, to help our clients prepare for rapidly changing technologies and lay down the groundwork for the future of gaming."
The lab also functions as GLI's regional headquarters, serving several regional markets including mainland China (lottery), Macao, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and other emerging Asian gaming and lottery markets.
GLI Asia General Manager Larry Xiao said: "Since establishing a presence in Macao, GLI has enjoyed a strong working relationship with both the Macao Gaming Inspection & Coordination Bureau (DICJ) and the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI). We extend our gratitude to them and look forward to working together on upcoming projects and programs."
GLI was presented with two awards during the recent SAGSE tradeshow. First, SAGSE distinguished GLI as "the most recognized and important laboratory, and its achievements and dedication to the Latin American region." And GLI Manager Latin America/Spain Development Karen Sierra-Hughes was honored as a "VIP Woman of Gaming in Latin America."
GLI President James R. Maida said: "We are thrilled and humbled to be recognized for our efforts".
