UK company Poker Controls is poised to launch its wireless controller for online poker games, and is understood to be exploring partnership opportunities with providers of online poker services.

The device, which connects to the user's computer via a wireless link, is protected by a number of patents according to its makers, and offers one-click access to some functions via quick-bet buttons such as ‘Two times the bet (X2)', ‘Three times the bet (X3)' and so on, ‘Bet pot (POT)' and All-in (ALL-IN), as well as dedicated Bet, Check/Call, and Fold buttons.

Other facilities include the ‘Raise-O-Meter', a dial control designed to allow the player to set a desired bet amount quickly and accurately, and dedicated buttons that allow the player to switch between the game windows they control, which avoids the need to use the computer's mouse to switch between tables during play.
