Alea Glasgow has great first year
Over 200,000 people have visited Alea in its first year of operation, attracted by the venue's bars, restaurants and special events according to the venue's operators, London Clubs International (LCI), part of Harrah's.
"Alea has worked hard to capture the female market, securing a visitor split of 65 percent male to 35 percent female, a high figure for the traditionally male-dominated casino environment," a spokesman for LCI said, praising the success of the £25 million entertainment complex in Glasgow, Scotland.
"Our venue is glamourous but also accessible, a fact proven by the spread of people and events we see in here on a regular basis. From the business dinners and functions, to cocktail parties, football fans watching the game and day-time slot machine players, we attract a truly diverse audience," said venue director, Paul Rety.
