Bally Technologies has made four new appointments to strengthen its international sales force.

Thomas B. Mahoney has been named Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Europe. In his new position, Mahoney will be based in Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Bally, Mahoney served as a sales account executive covering the Eastern Region for Las Vegas based Mikohn Signs and Graphics. Previously, Mahoney held an executive sales management position with Trans-Lux Pty., Ltd., a manufacturer of interior/exterior signage and progressive game electronics for the hospitality and gaming industries.

Matthew Lai has been named Gaming Sales Manager. In his new capacity, Lai will be based in the company’s Macau office and will be responsible for the Asia/Pacific sales region. Previously, Lai was an account manager with PCCW, a Macau-based manufacturer of cabling, audio/visual control systems, firewall/routing solutions and large-screen LED display systems. He was also an account manager with NetCraft Information Technology Co., Ltd. of Macau, a marketer of IT infrastructure solutions. Lai graduated from the Macau University of Science and Technology with a certificate in gaming management and received a BA degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Albert Santacana Modesto has been named Regional Sales Manager, Latin America. Modesto will be based in Panama City, Panama and be responsible for the Latin American sales region. From 1997 to 2006, Modesto worked in various account management positions for Cirsa, an international gaming supplier located in Terrassa, Spain. He also worked for Ocemar, a company that serviced various cruise ships and seagoing vessels at the Port of Barcelona, Spain.

David Sulam has been named Operations Manager for Bally Technology’s South American sales office located in Buenos Aries. In his new position, Sulam will be responsible for the company’s sales operations in South America. Before joining Bally, Sulam worked for The Coca Cola Company in various capacities, including Project Engineer, Project Leader and Supply Chain Manager. His previous employment includes Operations Manager at Cican, S.A., a South American distributor of Coca Cola products, and Operations Manager of the Vending Business Unit of Servicios COMPASS de Argentina.
