Inspired has appointed Marc van Rooij as Director, Northern Europe, in a move to further strengthen its management team. Reporting to Anne de Kerckhove, MD of Inspired Gaming International, Mr. van Rooij will be responsible for growing Inspired’s business in Northern and Eastern Europe and managing the delivery of products and services to clients in the region.

Bringing to Inspired significant European sales and management experience, Mr. van Rooij was previously the Director of Sales and Marketing at Six Flags Holland. Prior to that he spent over seven years at Alamo Rent A Car, where he held a number of positions, including Regional Director International Sales and Marketing Europe, Africa and Middle East between 1993 and 1997.

Commenting on the appointment, Anne de Kerckhove said: “Marc brings a wealth of experience with him and I look forward to working with him to drive our European business forward over the coming months. We have a number of key strategic partners throughout the region already and we are positive Marc will hit the ground running and develop the business so even more operators can benefit from Open SBG.”

Complementing Marc’s appointment, Pascale Feraud steps into the role of Sales Manager Casino for France and Benelux. Ms Feraud was previously Marketing Manager at Suez Industrial Solutions, a world leader in delegated management of municipal services. Ms Feraud’s role will be to manage the roll out of a number of products including the Chipper, a state-of-the-art mechanical casino chip sorter, and Inspired’s award-winning Multi-Win Roulette terminal.

De Kerckhove added: “It is an exciting time for our industry in France. The recent change in law and the approval and introduction of electronic roulette in casinos means we are excited to begin trials of our Multi-Win Roulette product and I look forward to working with Pascale on the growth of our business in France and the Benelux region.”
