Casino Technology has been steadily making inroads into some key Balkans territories since establishing its representative branch in Bucharest. Advanced Technology Innovations, set up in October 2006, is responsible for pushing CT product into the Romanian and Moldovan markets, and it has met with some success.

In recent months, numerous casinos in seven cities across the region have been graced with Casino Technology product and they have been well received by both operators and the public. The casinos include those of major operators like Golden Palace, Max Bet, Ritzio Group, Top Games and Viva! Group.

Casino Technology say their Gemini slot machine series is leading the line for them, an attractive, dual-monitor slot machine which has a solid library of games supporting it. Gemini slots can also be linked to the multi-level jackpot system Quatro Cash Mania, which makes them even more attractive.

CT's custom-made jackpot signs have also made an impression, it seems, alongside their standard production signs. These can be tailored according to the client's needs and the size of the premises.

Managing Director of Advanced Technology Innovations Martin Ivanov believes the company's success in Romania is easy to explain. He says: “Our products are available for sale and rent, and we provide the set up, prompt service and guarantee support of the equipment. In order to provide our customers with first hand knowledge and understanding of our video slot products we provide a complete demonstration at their premises.”

All the Casino Technology products are on display in a new showroom, located in Bucharest, and the products now come with essential new approval, issued by the National Metrology Board. This certification document affords customers the ability to register their equipment with greater ease and speed. Since early April, ten video slots from the Gemini series have been granted this certification, along with the top multi-games Multi Gemini 1 and Gamopolis.

The company's subsidiary in Prague, set up two years ago, has been enjoying similar success in Czech Republic. Gamopolis has proved successful there, with its four video slots and video poker thrilling customers. Gamopolis is now certified for all gaming categories in the region, including ‘Herna’, ‘Casino CZK’ and ‘Casino EUR’.

Many of the country's larger operators, including Czech Casinos, Merkur and Super Slots have voiced their satisfaction on the performance of the product in their locations.
