AGE: Octavian and FutureLogic sign two-year global deal
FutureLogic thermal printers will now feature in all Octavian gaming applications that use thermal ticket technology, following an initial two-year deal, signed during the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE).
FutureLogic will be supplying its award-winning GEN-2 gaming thermal printer and other thermal ticketing products and technologies to Octavian, and also has ‘first refusal’ to supply third party manufacturers working with Octavian. The deal is expected to support Octavian’s range of ticket-based applications in Latin America, in the Chinese VLT market, and in other emerging gaming markets.
Brett Clark, General Manager of Octavian’s OctaSupplies division, said: “Ticket-based gaming is an increasingly important part of Octavian’s worldwide business. This deal enables us to deliver the highest levels of integration between our gaming applications and thermal printing technology, which will benefit operators and their customers.”
Dan Turner, Business Development Manager at FutureLogic added: “We already enjoy an excellent relationship, having worked very closely with Octavian in Europe and Russia for a number of years. We have complementary products and similar ambitions in the worldwide gaming market, so it makes sense to formalise the way we work together as companies.”
