First French ‘No Smoking' casino
The Casino Théâtre Barrière de Toulouse, a multi-leisure centre in France, was opened by Lucien Barrière Hotels and Casinos during the first week of December. The company claims it is the first no-smoking casino in France, and has provided balconies on every floor for smokers' comfort, as well as indoor booths with extractor fans.
The 15,000 sq metre complex includes a theatre, restaurants and cafés as well as a casino, and is located in Toulouse on the banks of the river Garonne in a five-hectare site on Ramier Island.
The Casino Theatre joins the Exhibition Park, the Stadium and Toulouse Beach on Ramier Island, which is becoming the main leisure and entertainment spot in Toulouse.
