Stratosphere and 17 acres sold on
The Las Vegas Gaming Commission has approved the purchase of the Las Vegas Stratosphere along with a 17-acre parcel of land and three other Nevada casinos by a Goldman Sachs investment fund.
Goldman Sachs, which believes that middle-class customers are not being catered for on the Strip, has announced a $54 million spend on upgrades to the four properties it purchased, but has yet to announce plans for the land it has acquired as part of the deal.
