01 April, 2008

For the first time in its ten-year history, the Gaming Standard Association (GSA) held its Annual Technical Meetings outside the United States.

Hosted in Graz, Austria by Atronic, the event was attended by some 35 participants from Europe and the United States who took part in meetings of the G2S, SAS, S2S and Transport committees. The sessions were well received by all participants, and were hailed as being very efficient and productive.

"We are thrilled with the outcome of these first ever meetings outside the United States," said GSA President, Peter de Raedt. "The timing was right for GSA to hold these meetings in Europe. It emphasises that the GSA standards are developed internationally and that as an association we are addressing the needs of the global gaming industry."

Executive Director R&D for the Atronic Group, Oskar Dohrau said "it was a special honour for Atronic to host the conference."
