First wide-area progressive for table games goes live

TableMAX's Progressive Blackjack game has gone live with a wide-area progressive, the first in the world for table games, running in casinos in tribal country in Oklahoma.

TableMAX CEO Stephen Crystal said: "This is incredibly exciting news for TableMAX. Our patented proprietary technology for wide-area progressives will revolutionise the electronic table games sector. Everyone knows electronic table games are the fastest-growing segment of gaming, and now, with our proprietary technology, we are ready to take the game to the next, even more exciting level."

According to the company, TableMAX takes traditional Blackjack to the MAX without changing the player's strategies or the casino's rules of play.

With Progressive Blackjack, side bets are focused on the number of consecutive Aces dealt to a player in any one hand, regardless of split and/or double rules. A player participating in the Progressive is paid on one, two, three, or four Aces, whether or not they win or lose against the dealer's hand.

Players opting out of the Progressive side bet play the same familiar table game of Blackjack known worldwide.
