Aristocrat completes decentralisation, boosts Africa office
Aristocrat Technologies has opened a central warehouse facility at its European headquarters in Uxbridge, west London, which concludes a process of decentralising the company's European operations from Sydney, Australia. The 2,050m2 facility will serve as an assembly, testing, quality control, despatch and stores workshop for the vast majority of Aristocrat and PokerPro equipment sold throughout Europe.
Aristocrat Europe's Director of Operations, Stuart Brown commented: "The changeover has been a smooth process, due in no small part to the contributions of Danny Martone and David Wall, appointed respectively to the newly created posts of Operations Manager and Business Process Re-engineering Manager. We now look forward to delivering everimproving service levels to our customers here in Europe, including shorter delivery lead times, wider product availability across multi jurisdictions, and greater flexibility in the provision of bespoke solutions."
Aristocrat Technologies Africa is recruiting to staff a new Systems Research & Development Centre which is to provide local R&D in direct support of African and European market requirements.
