Ritzio marches on in Peru
Ritzio Peru, a subsidiary of gaming clubs operator Ritzio International, has reported an 18 percent rise in revenue for the second quarter of 2008, following a recent upgrade of the games mix in its Peruvian gaming properties.
Ritzio operates three locations in the capital Lima, with a total of 907 machines, offering casino-style entertainment and supporting services, and targeting at customers of middle and high income level.
During the second quarter of 2008 all three clubs have been updating their games library with top-playing titles and installing the latest gaming machines. Ritzio was among the first Peruvian operators to introduce the latest generation of casino electronic games, including IGT TrimLine, Novomatic Super-V+ Gaminator, Bally Quick Hit, WMS Life of Luxury and Atronic King Kong Cash. As a result of this action, Ritzio Peru expects to hit a 30 percent revenue growth marker in the third quarter, as more new games increase the attraction to players.
Ritzio Peru also plans to introduce live table games in one of its existing locations, and will also be launching a new gaming club in Lima. The new venue will feature 150 gaming machines and is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
