Nick Khin has replaced Tim Parrott as President and Chief Executive Officer of Aristocrat Leisure's American operations.
Khin led Aristocrat's Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) operation from September 2006, responsible for driving Aristocrat's expansion into new markets, in particular Spain, where the company is about to launch its new casino-style arcade games.
He has also had global executive responsibility for development and commercialization of the company's ACE Class III and VLT TruServe server-based gaming initiative through its Stockholm-based subsidiary, ACE Interactive. In addition, he played a key supervisory role over Elektroncek BV, the company's 50-percent-owned multi-terminal business headquartered in Europe.
The EMEA region has reported record revenue (up more than 50 percent) and profitability (up 140 percent) over the past two years, with the company significantly increasing its overall market share and presence in the region.
