Internet gaming software company CryptoLogic's investment in Mahjong Time, a provider of online mahjong software, paid off through the signing of a licensing agreement under which the company gains access to half the Internet cafés in China.
China is now the largest Internet market with 253 million users, at least two thirds of which are understood, currently, to have no direct access to the internet from home or work.
