Global growth continues: GSA adds nine members
The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) has recently added nine new members - one Platinum member, six Gold, and two Associate members - drawn from around the world.
US-based AMX, a specialist in Audio-Visual control and automation, is the latest GSA Platinum member. "AMX has always been committed to open standards so our company is clearly aligned with the vision and mission of GSA," says Rashid Skaf, President and CEO of AMX. "As a leader in the AV control and automation industry, we are helping to expand the possibilities in the gaming world as well as the hotel and hospitality market."
Another US company, New Wave Automation, has joined as a Gold member, while Codere SA (Spain), F2 Systems (Korea), International Currency Technologies Corp. (Taiwan), Oregon Lottery (US), and Nanoptix Inc (Canada) have joined as Silver members. SIQ (Slovenia), and Technical Systems Testing (Australia), have joined as Advisory members.
GSA President Peter DeRaedt said, "We are excited to have such a diverse range of companies join GSA, and we welcome them with open arms. The international reach of our new members clearly underscores the global relevance of our standards, across jurisdictions and across disciplines within the gaming industry. Already their participation and additional specific requirements will add significant functionality to the new versions of our standards under development."
