Nominations still open for 2009 ‘Industry Oscars'
Nominations are already being received for 2009 International Gaming Awards, which will be presented at a prestigious ceremony on 26 January 2009 at a gala event hosted by the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, in London, UK.
A panel of judges comprising 23 industry experts will scrutinise nominations in 18 categories.
The highest honour, the Outstanding Contribution Award, will go to an individual for a truly outstanding contribution to the gaming Industry.
"The Awards focus attention on the highest achievements in the worldwide gaming industry in order to motivate and inspire those who make our industry, and to educate and develop the tastes of those who we entertain," explains Colin Thompson, Business Development Manager for the Awards. "They recognise and reward outstanding work, and focus on creativity, innovation and social responsibility - not just commercial success."

Categories for the 2009 Awards seek to identify the best: Bingo Operator; Casino Equipment Supplier; Casino Interior Design; Casino Operator Europe; Casino Operator Americas (Canada, North America, South America); Casino Operator Australasia; Casino Restaurant; Customer Service/ Support; Eco-Friendly Company; Innovation Award; Journal/Magazine Offline or Online; Operator/ Manufacturer Website; Slot Machine Game; Slot Manufacturer; Technology Manufacturer; Traditional Gaming Equipment Design; and Socially Responsible Casino Operator of the Year.
