Portugal has seen its casino industry grow rapidly in recent years and now boasts over 5000 slots with two major casino groups present – Estoril Sol Group and the Solverde Group. Similarly, MEI has seen the same performance and demand for its products.

Together with its local partner, the MEI Cashflow SC83 has become the bill validator of choice for the Portuguese Casino Market.
In early 2007 MEI teamed up with local partner, Trade Game and since then the business relationship has flourished on the combination of service and product performance.
Mark Greenawalt, MEI’s European Gaming Director, commented: “It’s a fantastic result to have all of the casinos in Portugal now specifying the MEI Cashflow SC83 in new slots purchases. We are very grateful of the excellent work that Trade Game is doing for us and thank them for their support. Moreover, I would like to thank each of the casino groups for their confidence and support.  We appreciate their business.”
Elsewhere, the MGM Grand at Foxwoods has specified the MEI Cashflow SC as the standard bill validator for all 1,500 slot games in its newly-constructed Connecticut casino. MEI Cashflow SC was selected as part of a thorough process to determine the components that will guarantee the best possible playing experience.
“Opening a casino provides a unique opportunity to evaluate a number of suppliers and pick the best in class,” said Dennis Cavanagh, director of gaming operations at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.  “MEI, which shares our commitment to quality and service, was a natural choice.  Their product, Cashflow SC, has proven to consistently offer the industry’s best combination of security and acceptance – leading to more efficient operations and satisfied customers.”
