Casino International Managing Editor Jon Bruford talks about… Well, not a lot, really.
The economic slowdon is apparently now global and, depending on what you read, the UK is either just months away from certain recession or around a year away. Is this affecting the casino industry? Of course it is, and nowhere more than the isolated hub of Las Vegas. Sharon Harris takes a look at changing behaviours in the US in her column on page 12 this issue. Elsewhere, we’ve got a great interview with Peter Brooks of Genting Stanley, who speaks frankly about the company and the industry overall. Graeme Kidd serves up one of the issue’s highlights in his server-based gaming piece, which is highly recommended reading.
