Six new casinos on the cards...
Fin City Associates, a business development company focused on Guatemalan economic development, has signed a licensing agreement with the Guatemalan Gaming Agency for development of six casino/hotel/golf destination resorts over the next ten years.
In partnership with Seattle-based Alekson Development Group, these gaming destination resorts will be built in Guatemala City, Puerto Quetzal, Puerto Barrios and Lake Atitlan with work due to start in the second quarter of 2009.
"Securing six casino licences from the Guatemalan gaming authority clearly demonstrates the strength of Fin City and Alekson's development strategy" says Jim Alekson, Alekson Development Group President.
