IGE 2009's attendance figures hold up
Final figures released by exhibition organisers Clarion Gaming following the launch of the International Gaming Expo reveal an increased level of visitor interest, year on year.
Final attendance at ICE 2008 show hit 12,972, of which 10,111 were unique ICE-dedicated visitors and a further 2,861 attended the co-located remote gaming show ICEi. A further 6,960 buyers from the co-located ATEI (soft gaming expo) visited ICE 2008, boosting the gross attendance to 19,932.
IGE 2009, in effect, combined ICE and ICEi and was populated by 335 exhibitors from the low-stake gaming, remote gaming, lotteries, betting and land-based casino sectors. It attracted 16,692 visitors, according to Clarion. A further 4,015 badge holders from the co-located ATEI amusements event crossed over into IGE, swelling the overall show attendance to 20,707.
