Following the repeal of Missouri's loss limit legislation, which prevented players from losing more than $500 in two hours, the six casinos in the St Louis area reported a mixed set of year-on-year results for January.
Overall, revenue rose by six percent, but three casinos saw revenue fall - one, by 43 percent. Harrah's revenue held steady, while Lumiere Place enjoyed a 44 percent rise in revenue to $15.5 million and Ameristar enjoyed a 19 percent lift.
