Mexico: GAMMEX 2009 shifts from April to June
The Gaming & Amusement Expo GAMMEX 2009 has agreed to change its dates in response to requests from the gaming industry. The event will now be taking place in Mexico City's World Trade Center on 10th-11th June this year.
"Moving the event from the original April date has been done, along with the venue, to make sure that GAMMEX falls in line with some of the gaming segments in our country," said Show Manager Izkrah Pinto.
"GAMMEX 2009 aims to get together all the gaming sectors in the country, from route and amusement businesses, which are the basis of the industry, to the new games and betting parlours licensed under current Federal legislation."
GAMMEX 2009 will occupy the two principal halls at the World Trade Center, MAYA 1 and MAYA 2, which have a combined floor area of 5,800m2. GAMMEX 2009 is also scheduled to present eminent personalities from the gaming world to address current industry issues at a series of conferences and seminars.
"Expo visitors will be able to participate in discussions on legislation, marketing and gaming operations - themes concerning the future of the region's most promising market," Pinto explained. For more details, contact izkrah@gammexpo.com
