Online games based on Forrest Gump and Bravehart are due to be released by Cryptologic before the end of this year, under a licensing deal the company has entered into with Paramount Digital Entertainment.
Under the agreement, CryptoLogic gains the exclusive rights to offer online slot games based on more than 20 of Paramount Pictures' collection of feature film titles, including Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Beowulf, Beverly Hills Cop, Ferris Bueller, Ghost, and others. CryptoLogic also has the opportunity to build a branded casino based on the Paramount games. l Meanwhile, a 16 percent decline in revenues along with write-downs has led to Cryptologic posting a net loss of $32.7 million for the year, its first loss in six years.
