Central determination move for WMS

WMS Gaming is moving into electronic bingo, Class II and other central determination lottery-based markets following a licensing agreement for back-end systems technology from Canadian firm, Bluberi Gaming Technologies.

In April, WMS showcased Bluebird gaming machines featuring WMS' popular G+ games operating on the Bluberi system at the National Indian Gaming Association's 2009 Tradeshow and Convention in Phoenix, Arizona.

"Targeting central determinant markets - estimated to account for more than 100,000 units in authorized jurisdictions worldwide - with a deep range of high-appeal products available for the first time directly from WMS is a logical extension of our core market offerings that creates another growth avenue for us," said Brian R Gamache, Chairman and CEO of WMS. "Our collaborative alignment with the innovative Bluberi team allows us to quickly leverage our proven content to effectively meet customers' demands for new and exciting products through this new distribution channel."
