3M Touch Systems has appointed Jon Temple as Gaming Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Formerly sales manager for the UK and Ireland, Temple will be responsible for managing key customer accounts, developing new business and coordinating sales activities for gaming within the region.
Temple has five years of experience working in the touch screen industry, with the vast majority of this experience concentrated on the casino and gaming segments. In his new role Temple’s objective is to build on 3M’s current position as a leader in touch screen technology and acquire even greater market share through retention of existing business and growth via strategic targeting of new customer groups.
“The casino segment is a key focus for 3M as we see increasing opportunities for our ultradurable MicroTouch ClearTek II Capacitive Touch Screen technology in table games and slot machines, especially with the introduction of innovative features such as tactile feedback,” said Temple.
Temple held various strategic account management positions within 3M before joining the Touch Systems business in 2001. Experience before 3M includes product management, marketing and senior sales roles within diverse technology markets. Temple has an engineering background in Avionics.
