Bally appoints vice presidents for sales and technology
Bally Technologies has named three vice presidents to spearhead technology development and North American sales.
Walt Eisele, who joined Bally in 2004 when it acquired Sierra Design Group, becomes VP of strategic technology.
In his new role he will lead the company's efforts to integrate games and systems, oversee Bally's Innovation Lab in Pleasanton, California, and head its technical committee.
"Walt possesses the perfect combination of gaming and systems technical expertise that we need to take our systems and games technologies to the next level of customer-driven quality and innovation," said CEO Richard Haddrill. "Walt is also highly regarded by his peers throughout the industry, as evidenced by his outstanding three-year chairmanship of the Gaming Standards Association's S2S Committee."
Meanwhile, Derik Mooberry - previously VP for systems sales in western North America - becomes VP in charge of North American game sales, with responsibility for sales of video and reel-spinning products across the continent. He will also lead the gaming operations division, which handles the company's recurring-revenue games and wide-area progressive products.
"Derik is a gamingindustry and Bally Technologies sales veteran who is highly respected throughout our industry," said Bally COO Gavin Isaacs. "In his previous position, Derik developed strong relationships with a number of Bally's largest systems customers, and therefore keenly understands the importance of delivering on our customer-centric philosophy in all that we do."
He is replaced in the western North America systems sales role by Rob Jackson, director of regional systems sales for the past five years.
