Hermes SoftLab pledges backing for association's G2S protocol
Gaming software developer Hermes SoftLab says it is supporting version 2.0 of the Gaming Standards Association's Game-to-System (G2S) protocol, devised to improve communications and interoperability between casino systems and devices.
Ales Gornjec, Hermes SoftLab's Business Development Manager for gaming, said: "Synchronised and updated interfaces to aid with easier integration were developed, whilst extensions to the automated test coverage means that we can provide greater support to all customers."
The software engineering and consulting firm's gaming division assists specialist vendors in developing gaming platforms as well as peripherals such as cash-handling devices and ticketing machines. It also works on integration and testing, and on gaming content technology.
