The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has added four new corporate members, bringing its total to nearly 80, while continuing to support industry initiatives with cash donations.

The new members are Cammegh, the British manufacturer of roulette wheels and display equipment; Taiwanese slot maker Paokai Electronic Enterprise; Cole Industries, the Las Vegas supplier of turnkey gaming cabinets; and Trade Show Fabrications, also of Las Vegas, which provides services for exhibitors at trade fairs.

Cammegh joins AGEM as a bronze member while the others are at associate level, taking the organisation's total membership to 79. They will now be among those lending their support via AGEM to gamingindustry initiatives such as training and support for problem gambling. Recent contributions by the trade body include $25,000 funding for students of slot technology at the Casino Career Institute of Atlantic Cape Community College in Atlantic City; over the next two years, at least 25 students in financial need will receive up to $1000 each.

AGEM has also donated $50,000 to the National Council on Problem Gambling, an advocacy organisation in Washington, and the same amount to the International Problem Gambling Center in Las Vegas.
