Poker platform

SFR's Neufbox TV is now showing The Poker Channel to French viewers. The channel, already available in France via Free and Numericable, will be seen 24 hours a day on Neufbox, bringing its audience to more than 18m TV homes in 20 countries. Separately, The Poker Channel recently launched its European Cash Game Season 2, featuring competitors from ten nations.

Oasis in the desert

Nearly 400 people attended Aristocrat's September conference at the Palms Las Vegas, focusing on its Oasis 360 technology used by 260 U.S. casinos. Workshop-style sessions covered new product features such as bonusing.

Norman concept

French casino operator Joagroupe has launched a new bar/restaurant/disco concept, La Bodega, at the Casino in Saint Aubin on the Normandy coast. With 20 sites, Joagroupe is France's third largest operator.

Hole lotta fun

INGO Casinos held an industry golf tournament near its headquarters at Franzensbad in the Czech Republic on 25-26 August, attracting 120 players from Austria, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Germany. Dennis Jensen from the Grand Casino Brussels emerged as champion.

Spanish deal

Grupo Comatel is to distribute TCS John Huxley's table and electronic gaming products throughout Spain. The distributor has its headquarters in Valencia and offices in Madrid, Seville and Zaragoza.
