French progressive “uses world’s biggest network”
The progressive Magic Casinos Jackpot launched in France in September is based on the world’s largest network of interconnected casinos, according to Atronic, which provided the underlying technology and is operating the system.
About a hundred casinos – more than half of the country’s total – are participating, with 331 slots hooked up to the network.
The project brings together five casino groups and 19 independent sites.
The project got the green light when France’s gaming regulatory body approved Atronic as its wide-area progressive provider and the firm’s systems division as its operator.
