Bally Technologies and MEI have both been recognised at industry awards events in the US and Europe.

At the Global Gaming Business Gaming and Technology Awards, presented at G2E in Las Vegas in November, Bally says it won more awards than any other firm for the second year running, including two first places for Best Slot Product and Best Productivity Enhancement.

The slot award went to Bally’s new Cash Spin game, while its biometric recognition system took top place in the productivity category. Bally also appeared among the runners-up for both categories as well as for consumer service technology.

MEI, meanwhile, was awarded the Most Effective Customer Support award at the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Said Mark Greenawalt, the company’s VP of Gaming for Europe and Africa: “Those responsible are both visible to the customer and working diligently behind the scenes - highly trained customer service associates, responsive technical support, logistics experts, quality and manufacturing are all part of a larger equation.”

The Balkan awards ceremony was held at the Palms Merkur Casino.
