Big name suppliers will stand out on show floor

Bally Technologies, Konami Gaming and WMS Gaming are among the notable casino suppliers expanding their presence at IGE this year.

But the biggest stands will belong to IGT Europe and Novomatic, organisers say.

As we went to press, the total exhibitor roster stood at around 400 – roughly half of those being suppliers to land-based casinos. Other firms include suppliers to the low-stake gaming, lottery, betting, bingo and amusements sectors.

There are 86 new exhibitors, 33 of them addressing the land-based market and 53 the e-gaming sector.

Although the exhibition is being held in London, nearly three quarters of exhibitors come from outside the UK, with Taiwan, Italy, the U.S., Slovenia, Germany, and Austria all strongly represented.

“In my view and from my experience you have to go to this exhibition first and foremost armed with strong product but also with a defined marketing and sales strategy, clear commercial objectives and a steely determination to make an impact. There’s no dress rehearsal to IGE and as an exhibitor you simply have to get it right,” said Daniel Lindsay, General Manager of Aristocrat Technologies Europe.
