Casinos Austria gears up for international growth
Casinos Austria has reshuffled top management as it prepares to implement international expansion plans approved last month by the group’s board.
Josef Leutgeb, previously Financial Director, and Paul Herzfeld, currently Deputy Director General, are leaving their posts to focus on international development. Leutgeb has already stepped down from his finance role; Herzfeld will vacate his position in the middle of the year.
Bettina Glatz-Kremsner, formerly Financial Director at Austrian Lotteries, has taken the same position at Casinos Austria.
Karl Stoss and Dietmar Hoscher have left the Casinos Austria International board, where they were Chairman and Director respectively, to concentrate on the parent company, Casinos Austria AG.
Stoss said Casinos Austria was still hunting for a partner, which is expected to take a minority stake of up to 49 percent. “Our goal is to find the best, not the quickest solution. Good things sometimes take time, and luckily we are not under any time pressure,” he said.
