11 criminal charges against gaming companies brought to court

This year 186 companies in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region were revised by law. As a result 11 criminal cases against gaming companies were brought into court, 121 administrative protocols were composed, 88 entrepreneurs and managers were brought to administrative responsibility.

Among them the most significant violations became the followings illegal activities: organization of the underground factories of the gaming machines, using of illegal labels, infringement of the copyrights in gaming soft development and absence of necessary documents.

Moreover legal revisions were realized in metro stations and in 50 meters around them. As a result 156 gaming places were eliminated, two criminal cases brought into court, 81 thousand rubles of fines were imposed, 28 entrepreneurs were brought to administrative responsibility.

Today 22 casinos and 380 pavilions with gaming machines are operated in St. Petersburg, 10 casinos and 150 gaming halls are registered in Leningrad Region.
