The opening ceremony was held in the presence of many of the companies’ partners and clients from Germany, Austria, UK, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Cyprus, Slovenia, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Kenya, as well as representatives from the world’s leading gaming magazines. The two-day event included an official opening with traditional Bulgarian ceremony, a trip to the South-West of Bulgaria with a visit of the ancient Monastery in the Rila Mountains, and a sightseeing tour of the capital Sofia.

The company’s new headquarters, located in Sofia, includes 90,000 square feet of space across eight floors and concentrates main corporate operations and R&D activities. The modern integrated facility also includes several manufacturing and assembly lines; technical and service support department, quality assurance and compliance department and logistics.

Milo Borissov, Founder and President of Casino Technology, said: “We are very happy that now we have most of our employees under one roof – people who are creating the mathematics of our games, the design, as well as the people who are manufacturing our products. To create a successful product we need to be sure that the quality of every part is tested and complies with the high requirements and in our new facility we are able to guarantee this.” The main R&D focus of the company, on development of creative solutions and new technologies, now looks more achievable than ever with the newly acquired logistics and support base.

This opening marks the pinnacle of a successful year for the company, which now serves customers on five continents. Through sales channels all over the world Casino Technology products are presented and operating in more than 50 countries. Recently established are new business structures in Africa, Central Asia and Latin America; a growing market share has been achieved in several key markets in Central and Eastern Europe, and the Balkans. Now the Head Office in Sofia coordinates the international business activities through a network of 18 local offices with staff speaking 20 different languages.

Casino Technology is constantly developing strategic alliances and partnerships with world-renowned vendors, service providers, and operators. The Company’s president Milo Borissov and the VP Rossi McKee were happy to welcome at the warming party many friends, partners and customers. They were greeted with compliments for the fruitful cooperation by Bepi Mottes - VP of JCM, Rolf Klug - member of the management board of the Gauselmann Group and Vladimir Yanovski - a president and founder of Corporation Igroservice.

A late addition to the agenda was a surprise for guests as a new deal was closed between Merkur Casino and Casino Technology. Casino Technology will supply gaming equipment to the new sites, which Merkur Casino opens in Bulgaria as a joint venture with the Bulgarian operator Bar Game.
