Just 12 months after entering the Spanish market for the first time, Atronic has secured its position as the second largest supplier of video slot machines in the country.
Since appointing Javier Sevillano as the Sales Agent responsible for Spain and Portugal Atronic’s position in the market has gone from strength to strength, resulting in approvals for a number of Cashline and e-motion games which have rolled out across 14 casinos throughout the country. Atronic already has approval in six Spanish jurisdictions and has also been licensed in Murcia and Catalunya where approval of Atronic machines is expected to follow shortly. This will help to further strengthen Atronic’s impressive market share over the coming months.
Atronic Sales Manager, Stuart German said: “We are delighted with the progress we have made in the Spanish market since Javier joined us. His expertise and knowledge of the local market has proved invaluable to our success and in securing the approvals and licenses required to operate as a manufacturer in Spain. Javier is looking forward to building on the excellent foundations he has laid.”
The company has also enjoyed further success in Iceland, after Islandsspil, who are in charge of the gaming operations in Iceland have installed further new Atronic machines across their locations in the country following excellent performance results from Atronic games at the start of the year.
The group ordered several emotion machines featuring the popular spell binding game Three Witches as well as numerous Cashline machines all with the upgraded TFT Screen replacing the previous CRT Monitor and the attractive blue backlit bill validator bezel. Icelandic players can now experience the latest Cashline titles including Isle of Fun featuring the unique ‘Spinin Bucks Bonus’, Black Thunder with 3 possible bonus levels and Jokers High with a thrilling free game gamble feature.
Islandsspil took full advantage of the excellent ‘Pre Paid’ conversion kit offer from Atronic. This deal allows operators to pre order conversion kits for the machines being purchased at a greatly reduced cost. These conversion kits must be used within 18 months of the original delivery and are designed for dynamic forward thinking operators who want to keep their floors fresh at a minimum cost.
Also during Atronic's exciting summer, their new Harmony video slots have entered yet another market following the recent installation at Shems Casino in Agadir. This is the first operation in Morocco to introduce this stylish and ergonomic new product to their players.
The order for Harmony as well as e-motion machines came as a direct result of the increasing popularity of existing Atronic games installed in the casino earlier in the year. The performance of several Money Island games on a linked progressive and a bank of CASH FEVER machines was so good that the casino decided to place a further order with Atronic.
The Viva Group have also signed up Atronic machines, striking up their first deal with the company to supply a number of new machines including a bank of the successful dynamic bonus link CASH FEVER. The machines have been split between two of Viva’s prime locations, one in Cyprus and the other in Bulgaria. Both casinos are scheduled to go live with the new machines during July.
Özcan Erülgen, Managing Director of Viva Group said: “We have been thinking of introducing Atronic´s e-motion into our casinos for a while. Since our last visit to the London show we decided to have stand-alone emotion games as well as CASH FEVER. We're also working on our order for Viva! Bucharest and an order for Harmony should be finalised soon.”
Atronic Sales Manager, James Illingworth commented: “We have been working closely with the Viva Group for some time now and are delighted to welcome them as a new customer of Atronic. As always, the Atronic sales team work on a consultative basis and spend a great deal of time getting to know the customers and their individual operations prior to any sale being made. This level of personal contact and regular site visits helps us to ensure that when they are ready to purchase new machines Atronic offer them the right product to suit their venue and players.”
