Bally hits ICE
It’s shaping up to be a huge 2012 for Bally Technologies. The company is thrilled to be showcasing its world-class games, systems, and interactive products at the ICE Totally Gaming show in London.
Highlighting Bally’s display will be its fabulous new licensed products, including Michael Jackson King of Pop, Grease, and Betty Boop’s Fortune Teller.
The impressive Michael Jackson King of Pop on the new Pro Series V22/32 cabinet comes complete with a custom surround-sound chair that provides an unrivalled player experience. Offering everything from mystery wilds bonuses to free games bonus events featuring Bad, Billie Jean, Beat It, and Smooth Criminal, this game is highlighted by a U-Spin Platinum Record Bonus.
Operators, industry insiders, and players are already talking about the debut of King of Pop on casino floors this summer. The game has garnered wide-spread media attention and earned rave reviews from casino operators and analysts who cover the gaming industry.
Roth Capital said that Bally had the best overall showing at G2E in October, with exciting new wide-area progressive products and increased content for its ALPHA 2 platform, and UBS stated that Michael Jackson King of Pop had the most buzz.
Grease, inspired by the 1978 American musical film about two love-struck teens in a 1950s high school, is Bally’s first double-play game, featuring two, 25-line games – enabling the player to play two games at once. And Betty Boop’s Fortune Teller, the new companion game to the hit Betty Boop’s Love Meter, offers an unprecedented 15 bonuses at any bet and U-Spin and U-Choose bonuses.
Not only will Bally display branded games, the Company will showcase a wide array of new play mechanics and deep game content. Several titles will be show on the new Pro Curve cabinet, the industry’s first cabinet with a curved LCD screen. Games on the Pro Curve, such as Code Red, Midnight Diamonds and Playboy Playmate Party, look and feel like a traditional reel games, but are actually video slots.
Additionally, Bally will be taking its iDeck to the next level in 2012. The iDeck touch-screen button deck replaces the traditional button deck. New games like Fish’n for Loot, All That Jazz, and Total Blast showcase the way iDeck takes player interactivity to new heights, allowing players to use the interactive deck to shoot items on the game screen much like a video arcade.
The new Bally Interactive division will be displaying several of its award-winning custom mobile apps, mobile websites, Internet games, and play-for-fun games at ICE.
Bally Interactive offers a deep library of provide casino-gaming content, including popular licensed brands. Visitors to Bally’s ICE exhibit will see a number of Internet games, including Cash Spin, Vegas Hits, Cash Wave, and Playboy Hot Zone. Like Bally’s land-based games, its interactive versions offer enhanced bonusing, proven play mechanics, progressives, and other outstanding features.
ICE attendees will see first-hand why many of the world’s top casinos use Bally Mobile apps to allow guests to make restaurant reservations, book rooms, find games, contact casino personnel directly, access property maps, and more. And several Bally play-for-fun games, including Cash Spin, Code Red , Playboy Hot Zone, Vegas Hits, and Cash Wizard will be on display at the show and are available now at the iTunes store.
Over the next year, Bally will integrate its mobile and Internet solutions with its core casino patron, slot-management, and business-intelligence systems to give gaming operators a “single view of the player” and enable casinos to deliver a powerful experience to their patrons whether they are on the casino floor, at home, or on the move.

And at ICE, Bally Systems will display its award-winning products, including iVIEW Dsiplay Manager (DM) with the Elite Bonusing Suite. These trailblazing products allow for unprecedented floor-wide events and bonusing.
Also on display will be the award-winning Service Tacking Manager (STM). STM is a browser-based dispatch system that interfaces with handheld smart devices such as the iPhone and iPad for faster routing of casino-floor personnel to customers. When a service request is generated through the system, such as a machine malfunction or patron pressing the service button, casino personnel closest to the patron are immediately notified, increasing the efficiency of casino operations and customer satisfaction.
