Cantor and Atronic Partner on Mobile Gaming
Published:  01 December, 2006

Cantor Gaming has signed a slot content licensing agreement with Atronic Americas which means Cantor’s mobile gaming system will be the exclusive carrier of Atronic’s mobile slot games in Nevada and other US jurisdictions.

Atronic offers proven titles such as Sphinx, IC Money, as well as the now hugely popular Deal or No Deal, based on the hit television show from Endemol on NBC.

“Atronic has many innovative and popular slot titles, and we are excited to offer them on our mobile devices,” said Cantor Gaming Managing Director Joe Asher.

He continued: “Adding Atronic’s content to our system further enhances our standing as the leader in mobile gaming, which promises to provide exciting gaming opportunities to casino customers and incremental revenue-growth opportunities for casino operators.”

“We are excited to join efforts with Cantor to deliver our proven games to casinos and their patrons through this new mobile medium,” said Todd Nash, Director of Gaming Solutions, Atronic Americas.

He added: “Cantor’s history and expertise in the gaming and financial arenas with secure mobile transactions, combined with Atronic’s gaming experience and successful slot content will offer a new and exciting player experience.”

Mobile gaming allows the play of traditional casino-style games such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker, Slots and proprietary games on wireless, handheld devices. Nevada, through Assembly Bill 471, is the first state in the United States to authorize gaming on mobile devices in public areas of casino resorts, including lobbies, lounges, restaurants and poolside.

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
