Camlock is no stranger to those in the gaming sector seeking uncompromising, secure and reliable locks to protect their profits. However, ICE is a new location for Camlock, having previously exhibited at ATEI for many years.
The switch to the new position will enable the company to remain on the Ground Floor of Hall 1 at Earls Court, following the changes being made by the organizers of ATEI, and give the company an increased presence in the casino and gaming sector.
Sales Director Tony Dent says: “Casinos already have an enviable reputation for state of the art security systems, however if an employee were to misplace a slot machine key it could fall into the wrong hands and mean that the locks have to be changed, which is both time consuming and costly. Our new patented T48 Series lock can be re-programmed within seconds to prevent the lost or stolen key from being used.”
Operators who have bulk vending machines are sure to be particularly interested in the range of BV90 locks being launched at the show. A patent is pending on the new range. The BV90 offers fast, quarter-turn unlocking and locking, saving considerable time for busy operators. The new locks are machined from solid brass and incorporate Camlock’s ‘Octagon’ mechanism, which is designed to defeat unauthorized key duplication, and may be configured to operate with the same key. The Octagon system represents a major security upgrade for popular machines from Beaver, Northwestern (trademarks of Beaver Machine Corporation and Northwestern Corporation, respectively) and many other manufacturers.
Among the other latest products from Camlock at the London show will be the new lockable key ring cable lock which helps prevent the theft, misuse and loss of keys, as well as a comprehensive range of key accessories, cabinets and genuine Key-Bak key retractors from West Coast Chain Manufacturing Co Inc.
Stephen Farnsworth, Managing Director of Camlock Systems, says: “ICE will be an important show for us, providing an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our latest products to original equipment manufacturers and operators.
“We are excited about our change of location this year and hope to demonstrate to visitors to both ICE and ATEI that our products are the result of major investment in innovation, and that we are determined to provide customers in the casino, gaming and amusement sectors with the very best ways to cut losses from theft.”
