Following the recent news of the proposed acquisition of Octavian by the Australian Stock Exchange-listed eBet, Octavian has announced a number of staff moves. The new roles, said CEO Harmen Brenninkmeijer, “are part of Octavian’s strategic plan to position the new extended company for the next phase of its global growth”.
Ian Wilson, previously Group Project Manager at Octavian, is moving to a special projects assignment in Hong Kong. “A good deal of Octavian’s global growth to date has come through innovative collaborative partnerships and joint ventures,” said Wilson. “My role will build on that success, with specific focus on managing a number of exciting new projects in our new Asia Pacific market.”
Having worked alongside Wilson for the past year as a Project Manager, Lee Quarm is to be promoted to Group Project Manager.
Dyon Reijnhoudt, who was previously in charge of distribution at the Moscow HQ of CATS (Casino & Amusement Technology Supplies), Octavian’s distribution division, will take on the role of General Manager at Octavian India. A key focus for Reijhoudt will be to step up production of Octavian games to support Octavian growth in new global markets. The company projects strong worldwide demand for its games in the years ahead, driven to a large extent by the adoption of downloadable technologies.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
