Orrick joins AGI comms team
Published:  01 February, 2007

AGI has announced David Orrick appointment to the team to head up the company’s Communications & Business Development activities.

This follow's David's recent departure from Spanish company Unidesa after a long association.

A 13-year veteran of the gaming industry and a former award-winning industry journalist, David is a widely-travelled and well-known figure with considerable experience of market development and gaming licence acquisition.

David commented: “I am both honoured and delighted to join Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH at such an exciting time. The Novomatic Group of Companies has a deserved reputation for exceptional product innovation and the highest standards of service and is held in the highest regard all over the world of international gaming. My task is to assist the company in its drive to open new markets in key gaming jurisdictions and to support the AGI team internationally.”

AGI Managing Director Jens Halle added: “I am extremely pleased to welcome David Orrick to the Novomatic family. He brings to AGI a wealth of international experience and professionalism and will be a valuable asset to the company at a time when many new markets are opening and new relationships are being formed. His appointment adds a new dimension to our team and I am certain that the results will be highly beneficial.”

Poll

Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
