Ainsworth Game Technology has been granted approval for the issue of a casino service industry licence by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (NJCCC). The commission voted unanimously to approve AGT’s licence at a mid-December meeting.
The licence enables the Company to access the second-largest gaming market in the Unites States. The approval of the NJCCC is highly regarded in the international gaming industry and will provide AGT with access to a number of key US and international markets.
The Company’s licensing strategy of securing additional markets for its range of products is ongoing, with the granting of further licences expected following the recent submission of a number of additional licence applications.
Executive Chairman, Len Ainsworth, commented: “This is a significant achievement and will allow further access to additional markets for the Company’s gaming equipment”.
He added: “The granting of this gaming licence is a major milestone for the Company. As a result the Company is progressing all necessary product development and associated approvals to ensure the capitalisation of additional revenue opportunities”.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
