Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH (AGI) has announced it has joined the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) as a Gold Member in order to advance open communications standards for casino gaming equipment.
AGI is a leading European gaming manufacturer with the main focus on the development, production and worldwide distribution of high quality gaming products and systems.
Thomas Graf, Managing Director AGI, said: “AGI has been pioneering the gaming industry with technological innovations for more than 25 years. Such innovation highlights include our high-performing Coolfire gaming platform, TouchBet electronic table game and Gaminator multi-screen, multi-game technologies to name just a few. The fact that we are both manufacturer and operator enhances our ability to better understand the industry’s increasingly complex requirements for standardised communication solutions. As a new GSA member we are now able to contribute our vast gaming experience to all future developments of GSA’s open communications standards.”
GSA President Peter DeRaedt added: ”We are thrilled to welcome AGI to GSA. At GSA, we have been working very hard to develop protocols to make the gaming industry better for both operators and manufacturers, so it’s logical for AGI, as an operator and manufacturer to come aboard, and we welcome their insights.”
The GSA is an international trade association representing gaming manufacturers, suppliers, operators and regulators.
Meanwhile, AGI have other successes to enjoy. The company has announced that their product will have pride of place in the newly-built Casino Duisburg, Germany’s most modern casino.
As well as the slot machines and games AGI are famous for, it will also feature the largest Roulette installation in Central Europe.
The casino boasts a total of 75 terminals, 24 of which are linked in a Novo Multi-Table Roulette installation where visitors can choose one of three Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette tables in order to enjoy the classic live Roulette game in the privacy of their own individual terminals.
The remaining 51 terminals build up the second Multi-Roulette installation. They offer visitors the possibility to choose among two fully automated Novo Multi-Roulette wheels.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
