Merkur Casino, a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group, recently remodelled the interior of its successful gaming location in Hungarian county capital Györ.
Located in the well-known shopping centre Györ Plaza, the ‘gaming arcade’ has effectively doubled its casino gaming area, and while this exapnsion was undertaken the company gave it a grand new look, known as ‘New York’ (above). The company’s in-house interior designers take the credit for this look, which customers are already enjoying.
The casino now has a separate entrance, which allows patrons to use the facilities even after the shopping centre is closed, so Merkur can run a round-the-clock operation.
Within the casino, Merkur’s synergy works to create a complete experience for the customer. As Merkur Casino general manager Rolf Falke explains: “The synergy effect strengthens our expansion efforts in the whole of Europe. Serving as ‘show-case’ to each other and our many decade old know-how as ‘game-makers’ is the ideal combination in order to aim more specifically at tapping the existing market potential and profitability.”
Rolf Klug, Member of the Board Merkur und Spielothek International of the Gauselmann AG added: “By concentrating on the casino flair and service in this well-established site and by optimizing the high-quality interior decoration we clearly set again a new trend in the Hungarian arcade sector.“
Merkur Casino operates 14 sites in Hungary, where the company has operated since 1996.
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
