Grosvenor Casinos is championing the way in responsible gambling with the launch of a pioneering Responsible Gambling Policy and Training Programme. Costing in excess of £100,000 and taking two years to develop and implement, it is an innovative blend of computer and face-to-face training.
Part of Rank Group plc, Grosvenor Casinos is the first business in the group to roll out this programme. The training assists employees in how to recognise customer behaviours that could indicate the signs of problem play while demonstrating how to interact with customers in delicate situations. With over 2,500 Grosvenor staff already trained, it is now mandatory for all customer-facing employees.
Peter McCann, Managing Director, said: “We have taken the strongest elements from each industry code to develop a Responsible Gambling Policy and training programme, which can be applied across all areas of our business.”
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
