Grosvenor has opened its first new generation of contemporary casinos in the southeast, with the launch of its G Casino in Luton.
Following on from the outstandingly successful pilot G Casino, which opened in Manchester last summer, the new £6.5 million Luton development sees the G brand move to new heights of sophistication and luxury, paving the way for its rollout across the UK.
Other new G Casino sites are currently in development at Thanet in Kent and in Aberdeen, while two other Grosvenor-branded clubs are being redeveloped in the coming months, and will be rebranded with the G offering.
The G Casino brand offers guests a sophisticated but relaxed entertainment complex that includes a stylish and trendy late night bar with a stunning hi-tech LED ceiling; a delightful modern Italian restaurant; a sumptuously-appointed sports lounge with a wall of TVs and elegant leather seating; a centrally-located gaming floor; and a virtually self-contained poker room.
The new 27,000 square foot G Casino, in Luton’s town centre, is 1200 square feet bigger than the Manchester G and offers state of the art gaming facilities including a 150 seat poker room, 15 gaming tables, as well as 32 electronic gaming stations offering the latest in TiTo ticketing facilities and a party zone for gaming beginners.
Martin Iles, General Manager at the new G Casino Luton said: “Our launch night was a fantastic success and we were delighted to welcome our first members through the doors. We’re looking forward to welcoming many more members, too.”
Peter McCann, Managing Director of G Casino’s parent company, Rank Group Gaming Division, said: “The new G Casino offers Luton an exciting alternative to an ordinary night out. We received a terrific response from our guests; they loved the look and feel of the new casino and all agreed it will be a great venue for a great night out.”
Will the plans for Russia's 'remote' gaming areas go ahead as the State Duma has described?
