Cantor Gaming, online and mobile gaming provider, has snapped up The Kismet Group, a leading supplier of online gaming platforms and content.

Cantor is acquiring the key gaming assets of The Kismet Group, which develops and operates premium, branded online casinos using its own robust and proven technology. Kismet has operated affinity agreements with such partners as leading luxury UK brand, Harrods, to provide online gaming solutions for them in legal and regulated markets. Kismet has over 40 casino games in its portfolio and will continue to develop gaming content as part of Cantor Gaming.

Manu Gambhir, founder of Kismet, will become Managing Director of Cantor Gaming, reporting to Cantor Gaming’s President, Lee Amaitis. In his new role, Mr Gambhir will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Cantor Gaming’s online gaming business and the development of Cantor Gaming’s proprietary gaming technology and content. Tom Kenny, in his new role as Director of Business Development and Sales and Kevin Burman, Head of Product Development, will report directly to Mr Gambhir.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lee Amaitis said: “This acquisition is the latest initiative to ensure we offer our partners and potential partners the best possible solution in the online gaming market. We are excited about the possibilities that this acquisition represents.”

  • Yes, almost certainly. It's a great idea.
  • Maybe, with a few revisions it could work.
  • Don't be absurd, it's a crazy plan.
